How do I wander my computer back to its original / factory settings?
First, I DO NOT HAVE A RECOVERY DISK...and, SYSTEM bear on DOES NOT WORK! I know these are the 2 ways to do help this problem but somebody misplaced the bear upon disk and the system recovery act wont run (yes, my computer is that messed up). Any programmer / backdoor tricks I butt end do to adept restore it? What happens if I just reformat the C: drive?

Its a Vista computer and I dont care about the data...I just motive it to start up like it did when it came out of the box.

learn pressing F10 when the computer boots up...if you see any matter that says system restore F11 or F12 or F10 press that. Try ctrl+F11, that get out work on a lot of compaqs but it does not tell you to do it. Try it more than once. Sometimes it is hard to get it to take. stick your model in google along with the words factory restore and see what you get. When you see the screen if you get to it....choose advanced...then destructive restore. You ordain be reverting your computer back to the way it was when you bought it. You will lose all of your data. If you want to keep your data, this is not the thing to do.
