An incentive or reward washbowl be anything that attracts a workers attention and stimulates him to work. In the words of Burrack and Smith, An incentive scheme is a plan or program to motivate individual with monetary rewards (incentive reach or monetary bonus), but may also include a variety of non-monetary rewards or prizes.

On the some other hand, Wendell French says that the term Incentive system has a particular meaning that does not include many kinds of inducements offered to people to commit their task up to or beyond accepted standards. It excludes affiance and salary payment and merit pay; overtime payments, pay for holiday work or differential according to shifts- i.e. every last(predicate) payments that could be considered incentives to perform work at undesirable quantify; and premium pay for performing dangerous jobs. It is related with take payment plans which link wages directly or indirectly to standards of productivity or to the profitability of the organization, or as is the mooring in most organizations, on both the criteria.

The use of incentives assumes that peoples actions are related to their skills and capability to light upon important, long-term goals. Even though many organizations, optionally or by tradition or by contract, allocate rewards on non-performance criteria, rewards should be regarded as a payoff for performance. When we say non-performance criteria it is imitation that rewards are given on the basis of seniority instead than merit.

-->There is a lot of better information in this essay. However, it appears very disjointed. In some instances, a list of examples is provided but not explained further. The paragraphs do not eat smoothly from one topic to the next. This is probably because the author well-tried to summarize literature without fully synthesizing it.
After reading the essay, the challenge that I immediately had was, What was the point of this essay? While is sure focused on motivation, Im not exactly sure what its shoot for was: To explain the term motivation? To tell me how to motivate psyche? To warn me of the pitfalls of motivation? I was just left a little unsure.
Finally, mechanics are important. There were several robotic errors, including using workers instead of workers in the very first sentence. A minor error, but one that set the tone for the integral essay. Proofread!!
Overall, I enjoyed reading the essay.
