Group Presentation: Justice
Instructions:
1. Get into assemblys of 3 (no slight!) to 4 people (no more!).
2. Decide on a topic that you and your group members will research and inform the club about a certain area of injustice that you would akin to teach and possibly do something about (take action). Make certain(a) the topic is not also broad/general, and that its circumstantial enough to give a 20-minute presentation on. E.g., Poverty is too large of a topic, but environmental safety in poor neighborhoods, is more specific and therefore, better.
3. Research about the topic. using up sources like: the Internet, surveys, interviews, videos, visiting community organizations, etc. At least ONE of your sources must be face to face radio link (like interviews or surveys). You will hand in a disputation of your sources at your presentation.
4. Present the following for 15 minutes:
-introduce the trim back/problem and why your group chose it
-the community affected by this issue
-describe the issue
-what you and/or the class can do to take action
Be prepared to answer questions (Q&A) from the class for 5 minutes following
your presentation.
5. severally STUDENT must present.
6. You must provide some geek of visual like powerpoint, prezi, video recording, etc.
7. Individually, you will turn-in a group & self-evaluation after your presentation.
Grading Criteria
Your grade will be ground on the group presentation for the following:
Organization
Pronunciation
Clarity of speech
Volume
verbalism or pacing of speech
Level of interest
